The 9333102230 anti-two block switch by Hirschmann is the most common A2B switch used in Grove cranes. The A2B switch assists in preventing equipment damage due to the hook block contacting the boom tip on cranes and other lifting equipment. The electrical switch element is completely sealed in the housing. The housing is made of a corrosion-proof, light metal alloy and is treated and coated making it resistant to the damaging effects of the environment.

Identifying Grove Anti Two Block Switch:

The switch will have a label or will be stamped into the metal on the back with the numbers 031-002-060-011 OR 31-002-06-0011. Attaches with twelve feet of three core wire. This item is always IN STOCK.

Refer to drawing below.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOn the back side of the cable reel, open the strain relief attached to the axle in the center of the drum. Pull existing length cable out of the cable reel.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePull new A2B length cable through the hole, pipe and strain relief and push it through the axle of the reeling drum. Tighten strain relief to ensure sealing.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eReconnect the length cable to the slip-ring. Refer to drawing below.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRemount PAT Hirschmann cable reel to the boom.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTurn reeling drum clockwise to spool the new A2B length cable neatly onto the drum.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSet preload on cable reel by turning the drum counter-clockwise 5 to 8 turns.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWrap the new A2B length cable around the boom tip anchor pin (4 or 5 wraps) and secure with tie wraps.
